Buildings of New York
Launched in 2018, Buildings of New York is an urban photography project with the goal of documenting the changing social, economic, and built fabric of my home city, New York. The photos are accompanied by a critical analysis of urban phenomena, such as gentrification, displacement, and urban renewal. Through photo essays, I hope to bring attention both to the greatness of New York's storied and diverse neighborhoods and to the social inequalities and systemic injustices that form the basis of the city's development.
